Cyberabad SOT police seize Rs.17.40 lakh hawala cash in Mylardevpalli, two held

HYDERABAD: The Cyberabad Special Operations Team (SOT) arrested two individuals allegedly trafficking unaccounted cash of Rs. 17.40 lakh in Mylardevpalli police station limits in Rajendranagar.

According to information, the SOT police, upon the tip-off received, conducted search operations. The police apprehended two individuals, identified as Aditya Gehlot and Rohit, while they were travelling on a motorcycle in the Labbai Kanta area of Mylardevpalli and seized a whopping amount of Rs 17,40,100 from their possession.

The accused could not prove the source of the cash and where was it being taken from where.

The Mylardevpalli Police registered a case and started an investigation into the matter.
