HYDERABAD: Actresses have very little shelf-life in the film industry. They can enjoy stardom for not more than a decade; in that span, they need to deliver as many super hits as possible. To sustain their stardom, they also perform various religious yagnas and pujas. But performing these rituals can change their careers is the big question.

Star actress Rashmika Mandanna performed Raja Shyamala Yagam in her hometown in Karnataka by taking 20 priests from Hyderabad. It is heard that even Nidhhi Agerwal performed the same Yaga by taking priests from Hyderabad to Mumbai.

The likes of Samantha and Nayanthara visit temples regularly and perform various poojas. We hear that Kriti Sanon and Pooja Hegde also plan to perform these rituals at their homes soon. Recently, Pooja performed a special puja in Peddhamma Thalli temple in Hyderabad.

Performing pujas is okay, but can it change the fortune? Not really. Not every person who performs these yagas can become successful. Success depends on various factors. So, actresses also need to focus on other things than solely depending on these yagnas to sustain their stardom.
