Dhanush reaches a milestone on Twitter

Dhanush is one of the most talented and versatile actors of this generation. Though he is a Tamil hero, he attained international popularity by acting in Hindi and English films as well. He also enjoys huge popularity on social media. Now, he reached a milestone on Twitter.

Dhanush now has 11 million followers on the micro-blogging site. He is the most-followed Tamil hero on Twitter. But he stands behind Superstar Mahesh Babu among South Indian actors. Mahesh has more than 11.8 million followers on Twitter and is the most-followed South Indian hero on the platform.

However, both Dhanush and Mahesh are behind many Bollywood actors in the follower count on Twitter. Not only on Twitter, but Dhanush enjoys a good fan base on other social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram too.

On the career front, Dhanush is currently busy with the shoot of his maiden Telugu film Sir. Directed by Venky Atluri, this movie features Samyukta Menon as the female lead. His next release is going to be the Tamil flick, Naane Varuven. Directed by his brother Selva Raghavan, this movie will hit the screens on September 30.
