Dusshera Box-Office: Balakrishna's Bhagavanth Kesari is the winner
Bhagavanth Kesari managed to claim the top spot of the season in AP and Telangana due to its overall collection
HYDERABAD: During the Dussehra festival season, multiple movies hit the theatres at the box office. Nandamuri Balakrishna's "Bhagavanth Kesari," Vijay's "LEO" and Ravi Teja's Tiger Nageswara Rao" have been released at the ticket windows.
"Bhagavanth Kesari" with Balakrishna, Kajal, and Sreeleela had a moderate opening and faced a drop in collections on the second day. It showed a slight resurgence on the third day but faced challenges at the box office. It managed to claim the top spot of the season in AP and Telangana due to its overall collection. Currently, it is performing well at the box office.
"LEO," featuring Vijay, has become a hit and received positive responses in both its Telugu and Tamil versions. It has appealed to a younger audience but distanced the festival audience due to its violent elements.
"Tiger Nageswara Rao," starring Ravi Teja, had a disappointing start with low openings and negative word of mouth. It proved to be the least favored film of the week, despite Ravi Teja's leading role. The film also marked Ravi Teja's debut in Bollywood but despite the film's aggressive promotional campaign in North, the film flopped at the box office.
