Early Reports: Prabhas' Adipurush receives poor reviews from the audiences

HYDERABAD: When Adipurush's teaser was released last year, everyone criticized the film for its poor visuals and cartoonish characters. This heavy criticism forced makers to postpone the release and rework on the VFX sequences. When the trailer was released last month, people were pleased to see decent graphics. Later, the musical album also got a terrific response.

Slowly, Adipurush started getting the hype as the release date neared. Finally, the film has hit the screens today amidst heavy expectations. It opened huge across the country. However, the movie is receiving a negative response from the audience.

People who watched the film felt that director Om Raut tampered with the mythological epic Ramayana and came up with a lame version. The VFX work is also subpar. While the first half is bearable, the second half is tedious, opined the viewers.

The film will definitely do well during the weekend due to the advance bookings but we have to see how it sustains at the box office from Monday, especially with this response. Adipurush features Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan in the main roles.
