The pre-release press conference of Brahmastra was held last night in Hyderabad. The film's main cast and crew attended the event. Actor Jr NTR graced the press meet as the chief guest. Speaking at the event, he heaped praises on the film.
NTR said that the Indian film industry is under a lot of pressure right now. He stated that it is a good thing and added people perform better when under pressure. "So, the pressure is good. I think the industry should accept this challenge and make good, better films. I hope I am not pulling anybody down here. Let's accept the challenge and make great films for our audience," said NTR.
"I pray to god that Brahmastra will truly come out as the Brahmastra of the Indian film industry," he further added. NTR also revealed that he is a huge fan of Ranbir Kapoor and loved his work in Rockstar. NTR called his RRR co-star Alia Bhatt an absolute darling.
Directed by Ayan Mukherjee, Brahmastra features Ranbir and Alia in the lead roles. Akkineni Nagarjuna, Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy played the other key roles in it. The film is slated for worldwide release on September 9.
