First look of Thalapathy 66 to be unveiled tomorrow

Thalapathy Vijay was last seen in the film Beast, which was released a couple of months ago. It remained an average outing at the Tamil box office. Fans are now hoping that the actor would make a successful comeback with his upcoming film Thalapathy 66.

Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, Thalapathy 66 is currently in the shooting stage. The makers are yet to reveal the title of this movie. Meanwhile, it is now made official that the first look poster of this movie will be unveiled tomorrow (June 21) at 06.01 PM on the eve of Vijay's birthday.

Announcing the news, the film's production house Sri Venkateshwara Creations tweeted, "HE IS RETURNING... #Thalapathy66FLon21st #Thalapathy66. Thalapathy @actorvijay sir @directorvamshi @iamRashmika @MusicThaman @Cinemainmygenes @KarthikPalanidp."

The title is also expected to be announced along with the first look poster. Going by the buzz, it looks like this film is going to be a commercial potboiler laced up with a strong social message. Rashmika Mandanna is playing the female lead in the movie. Thaman is composing the music and Dil Raju is bankrolling the project. It will hit the screens either during Diwali this year or Pongal next year.
