Fresh controversy surrounds Nikhil Siddharth, with unexpected announcement of Karthikeya 3?

HYDERABAD: It has been a year since the release of 'Kartikeya 2.' Starring the talented hero Nikhil, directed by Chandu Mondeti, and produced by TG Vishwaprasad, the film successfully made waves at the box office across the pan-India spectrum. The film unit recently organized a celebratory event to commemorate this achievement, where the director and producer were present to mark this significant milestone.

However, amid the celebratory atmosphere, director Chandu Mondeti officially announced the preparation of 'Kartikeya 3,' igniting anticipation among the audience. A legal tussle has emerged, casting a shadow over the project's excitement.

The roots of this dispute trace back to the original 'Kartikeya' film released in 2014. During its release, the film unit encountered financial difficulties, a hurdle that was overcome with the help of producer Siruvuri Rajesh Varma.

Rajesh, who had previously produced the movie 'Bham Bholenath,' extended a helping hand to the struggling film unit, providing financial assistance and support in releasing the film.

In exchange for his aid, Rajesh secured the franchise rights of 'Kartikeya' through formal agreements. However, with the release of 'Kartikeya 2,' a new twist emerged. Nikhil expressed his gratitude to Rajesh by including his name in the film without any issues, acknowledging the producer's support.

The recent announcement of 'Kartikeya 3,' however, has triggered Rajesh's objections and concerns. He asserts that there was no consultation or communication regarding this project, and he is reportedly considering legal action if the film proceeds without his involvement.

Rajesh's stance centers around his claim to the franchise rights, which he feels are being violated by the development of 'Kartikeya 3' with a different producer.
