Gaslight Trailer: Sara Ali Khan's eerie and gripping psychological thriller

HYDERABAD: Disney Plus Hotstar has released the trailer for their upcoming Bollywood direct digital release titled "Gaslight," starring Sara Ali Khan. The trailer promises an eerie and gripping psychological thriller and murder mystery. "Gaslight" is set to premiere on Disney Plus Hotstar on March 31, 2023.

The trailer shows Meesha, Sara Ali Khan's character, returning to her family palace upon her father's summons. However, upon arriving, she is greeted by Rukmini, played by Chitrangada Singh, who appears to be her stepmother. Meesha's father is missing, but she keeps seeing glimpses of him. A shady police officer, a family friend, and Rukmini team up to gaslight Meesha into thinking she imagines things.

When Meesha's father's dead body is found nearby, she becomes convinced it was murder. With the help of her father's aide Kapil, played by Vikrant Massey, Meesha sets out to uncover the identity of the culprit. But with each character exhibiting shades of grey and an air of mystery, it is unclear who can be trusted.

"Gaslight" features a cast of characters, each with their own enigmatic qualities and a dark, unconventional plot centered on gaslighting. Directed by Pawan Kripalani, who has previously helmed the horror comedy "Bhoot Police" and thriller "Phobia."

"Gaslight" will premiere on Disney Plus Hotstar starting March 31, 2023.
