HYDERABAD: Right from his first film Awe, director Prashanth Varma tried to be unique in his every project. His films Kalki and Zombie Reddy are also of different genres. He is now coming up with a mythological fantasy fiction titled Hanuman. This also happens to be the first instalment of Varma's cinematic universe.
The teaser of this movie was released just about a while ago. Going by the teaser, the film looks like a superhero film which is set in modern times. How Prashanth Varma connected a mythological character like Hanuman to the lead hero of this film, will be an interesting aspect to watch out for.
The film is high on VFX elements. Though the graphic works look sloppy, the team should be commended for their effort in the given budget. The visuals look grand and the background score is decent. On the whole, Hanuman's teaser is pretty impressive.
Hanuman stars Teja Sajja in the lead role. Amritha Aiyer, Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar and Vinay Rai played the other key roles. It is slated for a 2023 release. Niranjan Reddy is bankrolling the project under the banner Prime Show Entertainment.
