HYDERABAD: Megastar Chiranjeevi and Nandamuri Balakrishna are set to take on each other during the Sankranthi festive season next year. While Balakrishna's Veera Simha Reddy is gearing up for release on January 12, 2023, Chiru's Waltair Veerayya will hit the screens on January 13.
Interestingly, both these movies are bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers and feature Shruti Haasan as the female lead. While Veerasimha Reddy is directed by Gopichand Malineni, Waltair Veerayya is helmed by Bobby Kolli. Meanwhile, we now get an update about the runtime of both these flicks.
According to the reports, Waltair Veerayya's runtime is locked at 2 hours 33 minutes. Veera Simha Reddy will be a bit lengthier than the former as its runtime is locked at 2 hours 45 minutes. Both films are in the final stages of the shoot.
They will be sent to the censor board after the shoot gets finished. The promotions will happen in an aggressive way from Christmas. As of now, there are good expectations on both flicks. Apart from these movies, Vijay's Vaarasudu and Ajith's Thunivu are also gearing up for release during the same time.
