HYDERABAD: Megastar Chiranjeevi is taking no rest and is coming up with at least two films in a year. In 2022, he came up with Acharya and Godfather. He is going to kickstart 2023 with Waltair Veerayya. This action drama is slated for a worldwide release on January 13 during the Sankranthi festive season.
Already, a couple of songs from the movie were released and got a good response from the audience. Now, we get an update about the trailer release date and pre-release event of this movie. If the ongoing rumours are anything to go by, the pre-release event of Waltair Veerayya will be held on January 8th in Vizag. As the story of the film is set in Vizag, the makers thought that it would be an ideal venue for the pre-release event.
Apparently, the theatrical trailer will be released on January 4. Releasing the trailer nine days ahead of the release is a good idea. On the whole, the promotions of Waltair Veerayya are going to be intensified in the coming days. Directed by Bobby Kolli, this film features Shruti Haasan as the female lead.
