HYDERABAD: We are less than a few days away from the prestigious 95th Academy Awards ceremony. The Oscars will be held on March 12. This time, three Indian films are competing in different categories. Thus, there are high expectations and people want to watch the ceremony live on TV and streaming platforms.
People in India can watch the Oscars live from 5.30 am on March 13. It will be streamed live on Disney+ Hotstar. Announcing the news, Hotstar's social media handles wrote, "Movies are dreams you can never forget. Come celebrate the dream makers at the 95th Oscars #Oscars95 Streaming on March 13, 5:30 AM." On television, the ceremony will be aired on Star Network.
This time, RRR's Naatu Naatu was nominated in the Best Original Song category. It will also be performed live by Kaala Bhairava and Rahul Sipligunj. The main cast and crew of RRR are already in the USA and they will be attending the ceremony.
On the flip side, Elephant Whisperers has been nominated in the Best Documentary Short and All That Breathes has been nominated in the Best Documentary Feature categories.
Apart from the nominations, Bollywood star Deepika Padukone will be one of the award presenters at the event. So, set your alarms and get ready to watch the Oscars live on Monday morning.
