HYDERABAD: By scoring consecutive hits with Kshanam, Goodachari, Evaru and Major, Adivi Sesh has become a bankable actor in the Telugu film industry. His impeccable track record helped his latest outing HIT 2 get a good pre-release buzz. Amid decent expectations, HIT: The Second Case was released the other day.
Right from the first show, HIT 2 garnered a positive buzz from the audience. Due to good word of mouth, the film collected a worldwide gross of Rs.11.75 crore and a share of Rs.6.43 crore. It exceeded all expectations and became a money spinner on day one itself.
The film is also doing well in the USA. According to the overseas trade reports, HIT 2 may earn around $500k through its premieres and first-day collections. This is indeed an incredible achievement for a film featuring a tier-2 hero.
HIT 2 is expected to continue this form over the weekend and may cross the breakeven mark very soon. Directed by Sailesh Kolanu, this investigative thriller features Meenakshi Chaudhary, Suhas, Komalee Prasad, Harshavardhan, Tanikella Bharani, Geeta Bhaskar and Rao Ramesh in the other key roles.
