HYDERABAD: Adivi Sesh, who scored a 'major' success with Major earlier this year, is aiming to end the year on a 'hit' note. His latest outing, HIT 2, is gearing up for a worldwide release on December 2. Sailesh Kolanu, who directed HIT: The First Case, is also the director of this movie.
The theatrical trailer of HIT 2 was released just about a while ago. Just like its predecessor, HIT 2 is also an investigative thriller in which Sesh plays the role of a cop. He thinks that criminals don't have brains. He calls them 'Kodi Burra'.
That is when a serial killer challenges him by killing different women who have no connection with each other. How Sesh handles the challenges thrown by the killer and unravels the mystery around murders, form the main crux of the story.
The trailer has been cut in an interesting way. You will be intrigued to watch the film right away, after seeing the trailer. Sesh is known for interesting thrillers and HIT 2 seems like one such film. The background score by John Stewart Eduri is fantastic. The visuals also look top-notch.
HIT 2 features Meenakshi, Rao Ramesh, Tanikella Bharani, Posani Krishna Murali and Komalee Prasad in the other key roles. Nani and Prashanti Tipirneni are bankrolling the project.
