I don't know if this is a pre-release event or a success meet: Puri Jagannath

After scoring a super hit with iSmart Shankar in 2019, director Puri Jagannath took a gap of more than three years and is now coming back with his new film Liger. Starring Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday in the lead roles, this movie is all set for a grand release on August 25.

The team of Liger has been holding pre-release events across various cities in the country for the last few days. Last night, they were in Guntur to promote the film.

Speaking at the event, Puri Jagannath said, "After watching you guys and your celebrations, I'm wondering if we came for a pre-release event or a success meet. If you all guys buy a ticket each, the film will become a super hit. Vijay, Ananya and Ramya Krishna gave sensational performances in the movie."

"There is no man who can beat Mike Tyson. A man of such stature acted in our film. We put in a lot of effort and affection for this film. We hope you all love it," Puri further added.

After Liger, Puri will team up with Vijay for another film called Jana Gana Mana. Puri stated that JGM will be made on a higher budget than Liger.
