HYDERABAD: The 23rd edition of the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) was held in Abu Dhabi on Saturday night, where several films, including Brahmastra, Gangubai Kathiawadi, and Drishyam 2, emerged as the biggest winners.
Brahmastra won most of the musical categories, with Arijit Singh receiving the Best Singer Male award, Shreya Ghoshal winning the Best Singer Female award, and Pritam being honored as the Best Music Director.
Hrithik Roshan was awarded Best Actor for his performance in Vikram Vedha, while Alia Bhatt won Best Actress for her role in Gangubai Kathiawadi.
R Madhavan received the Best Director award for Rocketry: The Nambi Effect and veteran actor Kamal Haasan was recognized with the Outstanding Achievement in Indian Cinema award.
