IMDb releases the list of Top-10 Indian films in 2022

Movie Database platform IMDb has released its list of most popular Indian films so far. This list features the films that were released between January 1, 2022, to July 5, 2022. Here is the list of top-10 Indian films on IMDb so far in 2022:

1. Vikram (IMDb rating: 8.6)

Kamal Haasan's Vikram claims the top spot on the list. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, it features Fahadh Faasil and Vijay Sethupathi in the other lead roles.

2. KGF Chapter: 2 (IMDb rating: 8.5)

This year's biggest blockbuster KGF 2 stands in the second position with a rating of 8.5. This Prashanth Neel directorial features Yash in the lead role.

3. The Kashmir Films (IMDb rating: 8.3)

Vivek Agnihotri's political drama The Kashmir Files is in the third position. It is the biggest surprise hit in Bollywood this year.

4. Hridayam (IMDb rating: 8.1)

Starring Pranav Mohanlal, Kalyani Priyadarshan and Darshana Rajendran in the lead roles, Hridayam is a Malayalam romantic drama. It claimed the fourth position on the list.

5. RRR (IMDb rating: 8.2)

The second biggest blockbuster of this year, RRR, is in the fifth position with a rating of 8. Directed by SS Rajamouli, this film features Ram Charan and Jr NTR as the lead actors.

6. A Thursday (IMDb rating: 7.8)

Yami Gautham's suspense thriller is in the sixth position on the list. It had a direct digital release on Disney+ Hotstar.

7. Jhund (IMDb rating: 7.4)

Starring Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role, Jhund is a sports drama directed by acclaimed filmmaker Nagraj Manjule.

8. Runway 34 (IMDb rating: 7.2)

Ajay Devgn acted and directed this project. It also features Rakul Preet Singh and Amitabh Bachchan in the other lead roles.

9. Gangubai Kathiawadi (IMDb rating: 7.0)

Alia Bhatt's smashing hit Gangubai Kathiawadi is in the ninth position. It was directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

10. Samrat Prithviraj (IMDb rating: 7.0)

Though it was a disaster in theatres, Akshay Kumar's Samrat Prithviraj got a rating of 7 on IMDb and claimed the 10th position on the list.
