It's a baby girl for Ranbir & Alia

MUMBAI : Bollywood star couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were blessed with a girl today. The news is generating a great deal of buzz on social media as the fans are celebrating it by sharing congratulatory messages with the couple. The couple recently shared the screen space in the film Brahmasthra: Part one- Siva, which became a big hit.

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir met while working on Brahmastra, and it was their first-time collaborating. While working on the project, they eventually fell in love. The couple got married in April this year.

In June, the couple announced that they were expecting a child soon. Taking to her Instagram profile, Alia Bhatt officially confirmed the news.

"And in the best news of our lives :- Our baby is here.. and what a magical girl she is. We are officially bursting with love- blessed and obsessed PARENTS!!!!! love love love Alia and Ranbir." she wrote.

On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor will next be seen in Luv Ranjan's untitled movie and Sandeep Reddy Vanga's "Animal". Alia Bhatt has "Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani" in her kitty.
