Jawan Storm: No Scope for 'Kushi'

HYDERABAD: Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan is currently creating a storm at the box office. The film was released yesterday and performs well nationwide, including the Telugu states. Anushka's Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty, also could not withstand the competition with Jawan. Adding to it is the storm sprinkling water on the hopes of 'Kushi.'

It is already reported that Kushi's collections witnessed a drop on Monday. Now, the collections have reportedly taken a further steep decline. Despite an estimated pre-release business of around Rs. 40 crores in both states, the film has only managed to collect approximately Rs. 22 crores. This decline in collections has trade analysts speculating about the movie's performance moving forward.

For Vijay Deverakonda, who had high hopes for 'Khushi' as a potential comeback, these box office numbers may not be what he was expecting. Moreover, with the release of Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan, competition has intensified.

As a result, trade analysts suggest that 'Khushi' may not provide the breakthrough that Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha were aiming for, and the movie's box office journey may face challenges in the coming days.
