HYDERABAD: Rumors circulating that Nandamuri Balakrishna and Jr NTR may have their films competing head-to-head next year, as both are eyeing release dates on March 29th and April 5th, potentially impacting the box office earnings of one or both movies.
The recent announcement of the commencement of filming for NBK 109, starring Balakrishna, has fueled speculation that the release date might be March 29th now that the project is officially in progress.
NBK 109 is under the direction of KS Ravindra, commonly known as Bobby, who previously collaborated with Pawan Kalyan on "Sardar Gabbar Singh" and recently directed Chiranjeevi in "Waltair Veerayya."
The NBK 109 team marked the start of the shoot with a poster featuring an axe, Lord Hanuman's amulet, and a reflection of Lord Narasimha on sunglasses.
On the other hand, team Devara already confirmed that the film will be hitting the screens on the 5th of April and there won't be any change in the release date.
Regardless of the plotlines, if these two highly anticipated films featuring major stars end up with overlapping release dates, it will be interesting to see which one prevails and which one faces challenges at the box office.
