Actress Jyotika is all set to make her digital debut in Bollywood
HYDERABAD: Actress Jyotika is all set to make her digital debut in Bollywood. She will be acting in an upcoming Hindi web series titled Dabba Cartel which will be backed by streaming giant Netflix. Along with Jyotika, Shabana Azmi and Gajraj Rao will also feature in this web series.
According to the B-Town reports, the show will go on the floors next month. It will be directed by Shonali Bose of The Sky is Pink fame. Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani will bankroll the project under Excel Entertainment banner.
Reportedly, Jyotika and Shabana will play the role of housewives who run a secret cartel. The show will feature three more actresses but their names haven't been revealed yet.
Jyotika made her Bollywood debut with the 1997 film Doli Saja Ke Rakhna. After a gap of more than 25 years, she is making her comeback in Hindi with Raj Kumar Rao's upcoming film Sri. Dabba Cartel will be her third Hindi project. More details about the show will be announced soon.
