Kamal Haasan Cancels A Project with Vinoth For THIS Biggie?

Vikram is a remarkable film not only in Kamal's career but also in the entire Tamil cinema. It is the second installment in the Lokesh Cinematic Universe after Kaithi. Now, there are reports about Kamal working with Lokesh again, but the director is already occupied with two other films.

Vikram collected a gross of more than 500 crores at the box office. It is also the first Tamil film to get a share of more than 100 crores. The major credit goes to Lokesh Kanagaraj, because of which Kamal is how considering another collaboration. Already, he called off a film with director H Vinoth, and as a replacement, he is now planning to bring this project forward.

Vikram featured Fahadh Faasil and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles. Both of them delivered power-packed performances along with Kamal. The major asset of this film is the music composed by Anirudh. Vikram is undeniably one of the best albums composed by Anirudh. The epic background score enjoys a huge fan base across the country.

In a way, Vikram opened the way for South Indian filmmakers to explore the formula of the cinematic universe. The next part in the Lokesh Cinematic Universe was Thalapathy Vijay's Leo.

Meanwhile, Lokesh also confirmed that he will be making a film with Superstar Rajinikanth. After that, there could be a sequel to Vikram.
