The much-anticipated "Kantara - Chapter 1," popularly known as "Kantara 2," released its first-look poster and teaser on Monday on the occasion of Karthika Pournami.
Following the tremendous success of the first installment, the makers are now unveiling the prequel, offering audiences a glimpse into the sacred echoes of the past where divinity weaves through every frame.
Directed by Rishab Shetty, who also plays the lead role alongside Sapthami Gowda, the first part of "Kantara" explored the story of a landlord facing the wrath of a demigod after attempting to break his ancestor's promise to the villagers. The movie, made with a budget of Rs 16 crore, went on to surpass Rs 400 crore in global box office earnings.
The first look poster and teaser for "Kantara Chapter 1" was released on the official social media handles of Hombale Films, with the teaser also available on the production house's YouTube page.
