HYDERABAD: Legendary filmmakers Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam are set to collaborate on a project, marking their second film together after 36 years since their 1987 gangster classic, "Nayakan."
The film's shoot is going to begin soon and the makers are planning to come up with a teaser for Kamal Haasan's birthday.
During a recent episode of "Bigg Boss Tamil," Kamal Haasan shared insights into his much-awaited partnership with Mani Ratnam.
Kamal announced that he would be joining the renowned director for a shoot soon, and he revealed that the film's teaser is scheduled for a release on November 7th, coinciding with Kamal Haasan's 69th birthday.
The project, temporarily titled KH234, signifies Kamal Haasan's 234th endeavor in the film industry. The film boasts an ensemble cast that includes prominent actors like Trisha Krishnan, Dulquer Salmaan, Jayam Ravi, and more.
This film is jointly produced by Kamal Haasan, Mani Ratnam, G Mahendran, and Siva Ananth under the prestigious banners of Raaj Kamal Films International and Madras Talkies. The music for the film will be composed by the renowned AR Rahman.
