Sensational filmmaker Puri Jagannath and actor Vijay Deverakonda teamed up for the prestigious pan-India film Liger. The film opened to a negative response and received a flop talk at the box office. Now, there are many doubts about Puri Jagannath's next film with Vijay Deverakonda.
When Puri was in flops, Ram came forward to do a film titled iSmart Shankar. Later, Vijay Deverakonda immediately came on board for Puri's Liger. The entire team promoted the film aggressively and also said that they had spent a lot of money on the movie.
With Liger disappointing big time, Vijay Deverakonda's fans do not want the actor to work with the director anytime soon. But, the actor and director duo have already begun shooting for their next film, Jana Gana Mana.
Already, Puri Jagan revealed that Jana Gana Mana will be made on a budget, double that of Liger. With Liger not performing well at the box office, it is unclear if there will be takers for Jana Gana Mana.
Although Vijay Deverakonda is doing Kushi before Jana Gana Mana, it is a regional film. The success or failure of Kushi might not help Jana Gana Mana in any way, unless the team shows some promise either with the teaser or trailer of the film.
