Liger is set for its digital premiere

Vijay Deverakonda's maiden pan-India film Liger was released on August 25 amid heavy expectations. As it is the first film in the combination of Vijay and director Puri Jagannath and also happened to be the comeback film of Vijay after a gap of more than two and a half years, there was a huge anticipation around it.

However, the film ended up as a disaster in theatres. Right from the first day, it garnered negative talk and eventually became one of the biggest disasters of this year. Now, Liger is all set for its digital premiere. According to the sources, Liger will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar this week itself.

It is heard that the film will be initially available to stream in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. The release of the Hindi version will be announced later. People who missed watching it in theatres can now catch it on Hotstar.

Liger features Ananya Panday as the female lead. Ramya Krishna and Ronit Roy played the other key roles in it. Renowned boxer Mike Tyson played a cameo. Liger was produced jointly by Puri Connects and Dharma Productions.
