Lokesh Kanagaraj indirectly hints at joinind hands with Superstar Rajinikanth

HYDERABAD: Lokesh Kanagaraj recently completed the filming of his much-awaited film 'Leo' starring Thalapathy Vijay. After wrapping up the shooting, he made his first public appearance at a college function, where students bombarded him with questions about his career and the much-talked collaboration with Superstar Rajinikanth.

There have been speculations that Lokesh Kanagaraj will be directing Superstar Rajinikanth in 'Thalaivar 171', which is said to be his next project after 'Leo' and before 'Kaithi 2'.

When asked about the commencement of 'Kaithi 2', Lokesh mentioned that he has another film lined up next, and 'Kaithi 2' will begin after that.

When asked about directing Rajinikanth in his next film, Lokesh replied, "The announcement will come from the production house. I cannot reveal it now."

Hence, it seems highly likely that Lokesh Kanagaraj's film with Thalaivar Rajinikanth will be officially announced soon.
