HYDERABAD: Superstar Mahesh Babu's philanthropic efforts extend beyond the realm of cinema, as he generously utilizes his earnings from commercials, promotions, and advertisements to support charitable causes, particularly for the welfare of the less fortunate and the medical treatment of children.

Recently, Mahesh Babu assumed yet another ambassadorial role, this time for a popular money transfer app, PhonePe. Notably, he lends his voice to the app's smart speakers, enhancing the user experience.

Instead of the standard computer-generated voice announcing transactions, users will now have the pleasure of hearing Mahesh Babu's voice, thanks to cutting-edge AI technology that replicated his voice without requiring direct samples.

This development means that users can now enjoy the distinctive experience of hearing Mahesh Babu's voice during their cash transactions on PhonePe's smart speakers.

Interestingly, a similar initiative was previously undertaken with Amitabh Bachchan's voice, albeit with reports of certain businesses charging additional fees for accessing it. It remains to be seen whether similar charges will apply to Mahesh's voice.
