HYDERABAD: Superstar Mahesh Babu and director Trivikram Srinivas' recent release, 'Guntur Kaaram,' is enjoying a successful run in theaters, approaching the Rs 200 crore mark worldwide. To celebrate the film's success, Mahesh Babu hosted a party on January 15 in Hyderabad, attended by the film's team. However, director Trivikram marked absence as he is unwell.
Released on January 12, 'Guntur Kaaram' initially received a lukewarm response on the first day but gained momentum, especially with family audiences, from the second day onward.
Mahesh Babu took to his social media account to share pictures from the celebration with the caption, "Happy Sankranthi!!! Blockbuster celebrations #GunturKaaram."
The party saw the presence of producer Naga Vamsi, distributor Dil Raju and his family, along with actresses Sreeleela and Meenakshi Chaudhary. Additionally, Mahesh Babu's friends from the industry, including directors Vamshi Paidipally and Meher Ramesh, attended the event.
Written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas, 'Guntur Kaaram' is a commercial entertainer featuring Mahesh Babu in the lead role, marking his return to the screen after the 2022 release, 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata.' The film also stars Prakash Raj, Ramya Krishnan, Meenakshi Chaudhary, and Sreeleela in significant roles.
