HYDERABAD: The much-awaited collaboration between superstar Mahesh Babu and director Trivikram Srinivas, titled 'Guntur Karam,' has commenced its new shooting schedule with great excitement. The shooting began at Annapurna Studio yesterday, and fans hope there won't be any more hurdles.
The latest updates suggest that the initial scenes being filmed are set in the house and office environment of Prakash Raj's character, who portrays Mahesh Babu's grandfather in the film. The set for Prakash Raj's house reportedly demanded a significant investment. As previously reported, cinematographer PS Vinod was initially associated with the project, but Manoj Paramahamsa has taken over the cinematography duties.
The 'Guntur Karam' ensemble cast includes notable actors like Prakash Raj, Murali Sharma, Vennela Kishore, Rao Ramesh, Jayaram, and Ramya Krishna. The scenes shot yesterday are expected to involve many of these characters, adding depth and complexity to the narrative.
The shooting schedule is anticipated to continue throughout the month, with the involvement of Mahesh Babu himself. The producers have previously announced the film's release during the upcoming Sankranti festival, and the makers want to stick to the same.
Starring Sreeleela and Meenakshi Chaudhary in lead roles, 'Guntur Karam' has Thaman as the music director.
