Mahesh-Trivikram's project to hit the screens in summer 2023

Superstar Mahesh Babu will be doing his next film with director Trivikram. Tentatively called SSMB 28, this film is the third project in the combination of the duo after Athadu and Khaleja. SSMB 28 has been in the pre-production works for a long time now.

Finally, the makers have announced when will it hit the floors. SSMB 28's shoot will begin in August this year and plans are being made to release it during the summer of 2023.

Announcing the same, the film's production house Haarika and Hassine Creations tweeted, "The Evergreen Combo of Super Star @urstrulyMahesh & our Darling Director #Trivikram is back to REIGN! The most eagerly awaited #SSMB28 pre-production has started on EPIC proportions! Shoot starts This Aug. Be Ready for a MASSive Blast at the Screens ~ Summer 2023!"

SSMB 28 features Pooja Hegde as the female lead. This is her second film with Mahesh, after the 2019 blockbuster Maharshi. Thaman is composing the music and PS Vinod is handling the cinematography. Apart from this film, Mahesh has a project with SS Rajamouli as well. The shoot of that movie will go on the floors as soon as the actor gets done with the works of SSMB 28.
