HYDERABAD: Filmmaker Mahi V Raghav has confirmed that there will indeed be a sequel to the successful biopic "Yatra" (2019), which focused on the life of late Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy. The sequel, titled "Yatra 2", is expected to revolve around YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the current Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
Speaking exclusively to a leading news daily, Mahi V Raghav expressed his intention to tell the story of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy but mentioned that he could not provide further details about the project at this point in time.
"I can't talk about Yatra 2 now; I will share more details when I have clarity on the project," he revealed.
At the same time, we have learned that the casting process for the lead role in "Yatra 2" is being carefully considered to ensure that the portrayal of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is authentic and resonates with audiences.
