Mamta Mohandas diagnosed with auto-immune condition called Vitiligo

HYDERABAD: Malayalam actress Mamta Mohandas recently announced that she has been diagnosed with an auto-immune disease called , which causes loss of skin color in patches. Taking to her Instagram profile, the actress revealed the details of her condition.

Mamta Mohandas also shared a couple of pictures and captioned it saying, Dear Sun, , I embrace you now like I have never before. So Spotted, I’m losing color. I rise even before you every morning, to see you glimmer your first ray through the haze. Give me all you’ve got, for I will be indebted, here on out and forever by your grace."

Fans and colleagues from the film industry have been sending their good wishes to Mamta, with many praising her for her strength and beauty.

This is not the first time Mamta has faced a serious illness, as she was previously diagnosed with cancer which she fought and recovered from in a few years.

Post recovery from Cancer, Mamta Mohandas made her comeback with the Malayalam film Forensic, ever since she is actively signing new movies. She currently has six movies in her pipeline, which are scheduled for a release this year.
