DUBAI: Telugu actress Lakshmi Manchu recently graced the prestigious SIIMA Awards held in Dubai, and her presence made quite an impression on the red carpet. However, she also drew attention to a rather unexpected incident where she had a strong reaction to individuals interrupting her interview. It has come to the light lately, and the video of the same is currently trending on social media.
In a video capturing the episode, the actress can be seen engaged in an interview during the SIIMA Awards 2023. As she spoke, a man walked in front of the camera, prompting a frustrated Lakshmi to give him a light slap on the back.
Shortly after, another person blocked the camera's view, leading an irritated Lakshmi to admonish him, saying, "Go behind the camera, dude. Basic." The man promptly altered his course and moved out of the way.
The video of this incident quickly gained attention on the internet. While some of the actress's fans justified her reaction, others deemed it brash and disrespectful, saying this is common for the actress to repeat such acts in public places.
The netizens are also pointing out another incident involving Manchu Lakshmi's father, Mohan Babu, from ANR Centenary celebrations that took place yesterday. During the event, Jayasudha seemed preoccupied with her phone, and Mohan Babu angrily attempted to take her phone.
Lakshmi Manchu made her acting debut in the 2011 film "Anaganaga O Dheerudu." She has since been a part of several films, including "Lakshmi Bomb," "W/O Ram," "Pitta Kathalu," "Monster," "Guntur Talkies," and more.
