HYDERABAD: Director Ajay Bhupathi, known for his work in "RX 100," is set to deliver an intense and suspenseful tale with his upcoming film, "Mangalavaaram."
The film's first look has already garnered significant attention. Now, the makers launched the trailer on social media today.
The plot unfolds in an ill-fated village where a gruesome murder occurs every Tuesday, and the residents live in constant fear. The trailer introduces multiple characters who seem to be terrified for their lives. Actor Ajay Ghosh appears bewildered, and many residents are shown running for their lives.
Payal Rajput, who portrays a character that appears to have suffered abuse and harassment, makes a striking late entry in the trailer. Her love life seems troubled, and she may be involved with a dangerous individual.
The film is produced by Swati Reddy Gunupathi, Suresh Verma of Mudhra Media Works, and Ajay Bhupathi of A Creative Works. Music for the film is composed by Ajaneesh Loknath, known for his work on "Kantara" and "Virupaksha."
Madhav Kumar Gullapally does the editing, and the art direction and production design are handled by Mohan Talluri and Raghu Kulkarni, respectively. Scheduled for release on November 17, 2023 the film will be available in multiple languages, including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
