Megastar Chiranjeevi changes his strategy
However, Chiru heard his fan's wish and changed his strategy. According to sources, his next two films will be helmed by young directors Vashista and Kalyana Krishna
HYDERABAD: Following his comeback, Megastar Chiranjeevi has predominantly focused on traditional commercial formula films. Although he achieved a blockbuster success earlier this year with Waltair Veerayya, it didn't satisfy Chiru's fan base. They desired to see him collaborate with young heroes and explore diverse genres. This is the primary reason there is a low buzz around Chiru's next flick Bholaa Shankar.
However, Chiru heard his fan's wish and changed his strategy. According to sources, his next two films will be helmed by young directors Vashista and Kalyana Krishna. Vashista made an impressive debut with his blockbuster film "Bimbisara" and has reportedly presented a socio-fantasy script to Chiru. Given Chiru's previous success in the socio-fantasy genre, Vashista managed to captivate him effortlessly.
On the other hand, it is rumored that Kalyana Krishna's project will be a quintessential Chiru-style family entertainer. These two films are poised to be commercial crowd-pleasers, albeit situated within different genres. If this strategic shift proves fruitful, we can anticipate Chiru's inclination toward collaborating with young directors to continue.
