Megastar Chiranjeevi on cloud nine with arrival of Ramcharan, Upasana's baby girl

HYDERABAD: Megastar Chiranjeevi is overjoyed to welcome his youngest grandchild, already dubbed as ‘mega princess’, born to Upasana and Ramcharan on Tuesday morning at Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad.

The megastar, who had earlier visited Ram, Upasana and the newborn girl at the hospital in the early morning hours, took to Twitter to express his excitement and send blessings to the baby girl and proud parents.

He tweeted, "Welcome Little Mega Princess.You have spread cheer among the Mega Family of millions on your arrival as much as you have made the blessed parents @AlwaysRamCharan and @upasanakonidela and us grandparents, Happy and Proud."

He again visited the Apollo Hospital later in the day and even shared his feelings with the media on this occasion. The proud grandfather said, "The baby was born at 1:49 am today. We are extremely happy with the birth of our granddaughter because we have been waiting for this moment for many years and it has finally arrived. We are overwhelmed to have received so much love and well wishes from our families, relatives, friends, admirers and well-wishers all across the world. We really appreciate everyone's lovely wishes and blessings for the newborn.

"We are overjoyed that our granddaughter was born on our favourite day of the week, Tuesday. It has been said that she was born at an auspicious time, and the baby's horoscope is equally impressive. That effect has been evident in our family since the beginning. Everything is going well in our family, from Ramcharan's career to Varun's engagement," Megastar Chiranjeevi added.

The Mega family received an outpouring of congratulations following the birth of Mega Princess on Tuesday. Several celebrities, including Junior NTR, Mahesh Babu, Advani, and Allu Arjun, took to Twitter to express their delight at the arrival of Ramcharan and Upasana's baby girl.
