HYDERABAD: Megastar Chiranjeevi recently underwent knee surgery to address his persistent knee pain. The surgery, known as arthroscopic knee wash treatment, was performed at a hospital in Delhi.
Arthroscopic knee wash treatment, or "Knee Wash," involves removing infection in the kneecap and replenishing the area with new fluid between the bones. This procedure is performed through two small incisions near the knee, minimizing the need for extensive stitches and ensuring a less invasive approach.
The 67-year-old Chiranjeevi is currently recuperating in a Delhi hospital. He is under the care of medical professionals who closely monitor his progress. He is expected to remain under observation for about a week before returning to Hyderabad. He is anticipated to return home around August 22, which coincides with his birthday.
Chiranjeevi, who recently appeared in the film "Bholaa Shankar," is not letting the surgery slow down his professional commitments. He is set to begin shooting for a new movie directed by Kalyan Krishna very soon. His daughter, Sushmita, is producing the film.
