Multiple cities to host premiere shows for Dhanush's Sir

HYDERABAD: Star actor Dhanush is making his Telugu debut with Sir. This Venky Atluri directorial is a Tamil-Telugu bilingual film. It is titled as Vaathi in Tamil. Sir is slated for a worldwide release tomorrow. Meanwhile, the makers are hosting premieres across Telugu states tonight.

Initially, three shows in the Prasads multiplex were allocated for Sir tonight. Within a few minutes, all tickets went sold out for these shows. Looking at the response, the makers added another screen as well. Now, premieres are being hosted at select screens in other cities like Vizag, Vijayawada, Guntur, Nellore, Rajahmundry and Kakinada.

Already, advance bookings for premieres have started in a few cities. Looking at the response, it is predicted that Sir will have a very good opening in the Telugu states. The film was censored the other day and the reports stated that it is a well-made film that revolves around the corruption in the education system. Intermediate students are expected to connect well with the movie.

Sir features Samyuktha Menon as the female lead. Samuthirakani, Tanikella Bharani, Hyper Aadhi and Sai Kumar played other key roles in it.
