Music director Thaman lands in a new controversy

HYDERABAD: Star music director Thaman landed in a controversy, as he is facing flak from the NRIs. Thaman was in the USA recently to perform at the America Telugu Sambaralu 2023, hosted by the North America Telugu Society (NATS). Apparently, Thaman's attitude irked the organizers at the event.

According to the organizers, Thaman and his team took a long time to set up their equipment on stage and didn't allow other programmes to be held on time. When requested about the same, apparently Thaman responded in a rude manner.

It seems that Thaman and his team blocked the stage for more than nine hours for 'music arrangements'. When requested to get it done faster, he said that he won't perform at all if he doesn't get enough time. This argument eventually led to the cancellation of Thaman's performance.

The organizers are disappointed with Thaman's attitude and stated that they will take the issue to the big wigs of the Telugu film industry. On the other side, Thaman is yet to respond to this controversy. On the work front, he has various films in the lineup, like Bro, Boyapati Rapo and Guntur Karam.
