HYDERABAD: Nandamuri Balakrishna is a well-known personality who has gained immense popularity with his highly successful OTT talk show, Unstoppable, on AHA. He has also been seen in a few brand advertisements on television. Now, he joined hands with Star Sports Telugu for TATA IPL 2023.
By sharing the commentary box, Balakrishna will take the mix of sports and entertainment to a new level on Star Sports Telugu. Balakrishna is an ardent cricket fan and used to play cricket during his college days alongside the likes of former Indian captain Mohammad Azharuddin. Balakrishna maintains a strong association with the game and even captains a cricket team in a celebrity league.
Fans will have the chance to engage with Balakrishna live on TV for the first time via #AskStar, and he will also feature on Cricket Live.
Speaking about his association with Star Sports Telugu, Nandamuri Balakrishna said, “As a cricket fan, I am delighted to be associated with IPL on Star Sports Telugu. I have enjoyed IPL games on the big screen with my friends and family, and I am excited that our Telugu fans will now get to watch me on the coverage. I will be supporting all our cricketing heroes and hope it will be a special season for all of us. I am looking forward to joining the Star Sports Telugu experts on March 31st.”
Other commentary panel members include former Chief Selector of the Indian Cricket team, MSK Prasad, former India captain Mithali Raj, IPL champions - Venugopal Rao, T Suman, Ashish Reddy, and Kalyan Krishna.
The TATA IPL 2023 will begin on March 31st and continue until May 28th, 2023.
