Netflix India announces its upcoming release slate

Recently, streaming giant Netflix celebrated its 25th anniversary. On this occasion, the India wing of the OTT platform announced its upcoming release slate which includes many interesting projects.

The Archies

Zoya Akhtar is coming up with the adaptation of The Archie Comics. Titled The Archies, this series marks the debut of Shah Rukh Khan's daughter Suhana Khan, Amitabh Bachchan's grandson Agastya Nanda and Sridevi's younger daughter Kushi Kapoor.

Chakda Xpress

Anushka Sharma's comeback film Chakda Xpress will have a direct release on Netflix. It is the biopic of Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami.

Khufiya

Acclaimed director Vishal Bharadwaj is coming up with a thriller named Khufiya. Tabu and Ali Fazal play the lead roles in it.

Plan A Plan B

Ritesh Deshmukh and Tamannaah Bhatia teamed up for a comedy series named Plan A Plan B. It premieres on September 30.

Monica Oh My Darling

Talented actors Rajkumar Rao, Huma Qureshi and Radhika Apte are coming up with this quirky thriller.

Devotion of Suspect X

Kareena Kapoor is making her Netflix debut with this movie. Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat are playing the other lead roles in this Sujoy Ghosh directorial.

Qala

Touted to be a soulful drama, this film features the late Irrfan Khan's son Babil Khan, Tripti Dimri and Swastika Mukherjee in the lead roles.

Chor Nikal Ke Bhaaga

Directed by Amar Kaushik, this suspense thriller features Yami Gautam and Sunny Kaushal in the lead roles.
