HYDERABAD: Actor Nikhil candidly discussed his film "Spy," admitting that the movie turned into a disaster due to its premature release before shooting was completed. Speaking at an event in Hyderabad, Nikhil expressed his intention to learn from the past mistakes in his film career.

"Spy" delves into the mysterious disappearance of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and is based on the life of a spy. Nikhil acknowledged that the film encountered various challenges and cited the rushed production and release as key factors contributing to its poor performance at the box office.

Nikhil stated, "There were many mistakes in the movie 'Spy.' Even after knowing that just ten days of shooting were left, the makers began the post-production work to release the film. I believe this hasty approach hindered the movie from reaching the audience. I apologize to the audience who were disappointed by that film. I am committed to ensuring that such errors will not occur in my future projects. The quality of 'Kartikeya-3,' 'Swayambhu,' and 'The India House' remains consistently high. We are dedicated to delivering both an engaging storyline and high-quality filmmaking."

Presently, Nikhil is actively involved in the film "Swayambhu," directed by Bharat Krishnamachari.
