HYDERABAD: Nikhil Siddharth's market improved across the nation with the success of Karthikeya 2. Continuing the momentum, the actor decided to attempt more films at the pan-India level to attract more audiences. In the process, he did SPY, based on the mysterious missing of Subhash Chandra Bose. The film was released yesterday and premiered in the USA too.
According to the trade experts, the film had been given the best release in the USA, the highest ever for the actor in the country. Similarly, the openings are encouraging.
Now, the film opened to a worldwide gross of 11.7 Cr rupees at the box office. The team said, "Nikhil has attained his career's biggest opening, grossing a staggering ₹11.70 Cr. The film continues to dominate the box office, with housefull shows and additional screenings being added in various locations."
We hear the film will stand as Nikhil's highest opening in the USA. The film collects a total gross of $225k in the USA.
