HYDERABAD; Sandeep Reddy Vanga and the Animal team recently appeared in Hyderabad to promote their latest film.
Addressing speculations about Animal being initially pitched to Mahesh Babu, the director clarified that while he did present a script to Mahesh Babu, it was for a different film titled Devil. Contrary to rumors, Mahesh Babu did not reject the movie; rather, the project did not come to fruition.
Sandeep Reddy shared that Devil, the film he intended to make with Mahesh Babu, was more intense and violent than his upcoming project, Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor. Despite earlier misconceptions, it is now confirmed that Mahesh Babu's alleged rejection pertained to 'Devil' and not 'Animal.'

As Sandeep Reddy Vanga prepares for the release of Animal, featuring Ranbir Kapoor, he emphasizes the film's exploration of a toxic father-son relationship that transforms the son into a ruthless gangster driven by a desperate need for his father's approval.
Following Kabir Singh, which starred Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani, Animal is poised to be even more intense, having received an A certificate from the CBFC. The film boasts a runtime of 3 hours and 21 minutes.
