Official: Adipurush postponed from January to June 2023

HYDERABAD: There have been too many speculations on the release date of Adipurush, starring Prabhas in the lead role. Om Raut is the director of the film who has been working on the post-production works currently. The film was initially scheduled for a grand release during Sankranthi 2023. But, the team decided to postpone the film. Today, the makers officially confirmed the postponement with a new release date.
Team Adipurush revealed that the film will now head for a grand release at the Pan-India level in multiple languages on June 16th, 2023.
"Adipurush is not a film, but a representation of our devotion to Prabhu Sri Ram and commitment towards our Sanskriti and history. In order to give a complete visual experience to the viewers, we need to give more time to the teams working on the film. Adipurush will now release on June 16, 2023. We are committed to making a film that India is proud of. Your support, love, and blessings is what keeps us going." revealed the makers.
Adipurush also features Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan in crucial roles.
