HYDERABAD: Prabhas and Nag Ashwin's Project K is getting bigger every day. Already, it features big Indian stalwarts like Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani. Now, another star hero joined the list. Universal Hero Kamal Haasan came on board to play a vital role in this movie.
The film's production house, Vyjayanthi Movies, released a special video to announce Kamal's inclusion in the film. "Welcoming the greatest actor Ulaganayagan @ikamalhaasan. Our journey becomes Universal now. #ProjectK," the team stated on social media.
Although rumours about Kamal's inclusion in Project K had been circulating for weeks, the makers kept things under wraps until now. With this announcement, fans are thrilled to witness the ensemble of these exceptional talents on the silver screen.
Undoubtedly, this marks one of the most remarkable casting coups in the history of Indian cinema. Project K is scheduled for a global release in 2024, with the music composed by Santosh Narayanan and Ashwini Dutt serving as the project's producer. Additionally, Kamal Haasan has Indian 2 and a film by Mani Ratnam lined up for the future. If all goes as planned, fans can expect two releases from Kamal Haasan next year.
