Oy! Re-Release: RRR producer has to take the decision

HYDERABAD: Oy! was a romantic drama movie in Telugu, which was directed by Anand Ranga and released in 2009. The film marked the debut of Shamlee, sister of Shalini Ajith, and it starred actor Siddharth in the lead role.

Recently, a Twitter user asked Anand Ranga to re-release the movie in theaters as many movies are currently being re-released. However, the director replied that it is up to the producer, DVV Danayya, who is currently producing Pawan Kalyan’s OG, to decide whether to release the film again or not.

"Oye Re-release cheyandi sir please." wrote the Twitter user to which Anand replied saying, "Only producer can decide that."

Oy is one of the super hit romantic dramas in Telugu.

DVV Danayya is currently enjoying a global wide popularity with the film RRR. Earlier, he used to produce films under the banner, Universal Media.

Meanwhile, Anand Ranga is busy with his upcoming project, a series called The Black Coat, which will feature Karthik Rathnam as the protagonist and is set to release soon.
