Pawan Kalyan urges the Tamil film industry to think beyond boundaries at BRO pre-release
Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan's response to the ultimatum passed by the Tamil Movie Artists Association (FEFSI) has sparked a debate in the industry
HYDERABAD: Recently, the Tamil movie artists association decided to shoot their films in Tamilnadu alone and directed the filmmakers to hire only regional artists. Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan's response to the ultimatum passed by the Tamil Movie Artists Association (FEFSI) has sparked a debate in the industry. He disagreed with the decision, urging the Tamil film industry to think beyond boundaries and embrace collaboration with artists from different regions.
Pawan Kalyan cited the example of the film 'Bro', which features a Tamilian director (Samuthrikani), a cinematographer from Kerala (Sujith Vasudevan), and a North Indian actress (Urvashi Rautela). He highlighted that great films can be made when people from different regions come together and work collaboratively.
The actor also reminded the Tamil film industry of the contributions made by Telugu filmmakers like AM Ratnam, who produced successful dubbing films like 'Roja' and 'Gentleman', which elevated the Tamil industry to new heights.
Pawan Kalyan emphasized that artists should not be limited by caste, creed, or religion but should think beyond such barriers. He appreciated Samuthirakani's effort to learn Telugu for directing 'Bro' and promised to learn Tamil soon and deliver a speech in Tamilnadu.
On the work front, Pawan's BRO is gearing up for a grand release on the coming Friday.
